Job Description
**Ready Mix Truck Driver** is responsible for safely operating a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to various job sites while maintaining product quality and adhering to safety standards. The driver ensures timely deliveries, communicates effectively with dispatch and customers, and upholds company and DOT compliance requirements.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
**Safe Vehicle Operation**
**Operate the ready-mix truck safely and efficiently, following all traffic laws and company safety policies.**
**Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition.**
**Loading and Mixing Concrete**
**Load concrete from the batch plant according to the correct mix design.**
**Control the mixer drum speed to keep concrete uniform and prevent segregation or setting during transit.**
**Delivering Concrete to Job Sites**
**Transport concrete to assigned job sites on time.**
