Job Description
Performs diversified receiving, distribution and inventory control duties supporting hospital operations.
Job Responsibility
1.Drives hospital truck and alternate sprinter vans.
2.Loads and transports all materials/packages including bulk items and equipment to hospital, offsites and designated locations.
3.Unloads materials at destination and picks items up as needed.
4.Maintains motor vehicles in a safe, clean and orderly manner. Performs daily inspection.
5.Distributes supplies to various supply room locations throughout the hospital.
6.Enters required delivery information/scans orders into department computer system.
7.Participates in off-loading trucks, unpacking/uncrating items received using proper equipment.
8.Operates manual or power lift equipment to move materials from receiving dock platform to designated locations as needed.
9.Places orders for hospital supplies.
