Your Opportunity:
Your opportunity is to work in an award winning trans-disciplinary program providing specialized stroke care in the client's home. As our recreation therapist, under supervision from the Clinical Coordinator of the Stroke Early Supported Discharge Team, you will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of recreation therapy assessments and treatment for clients referred. Treatment is provided within the trans-disciplinary model, with an emphasis on Client and Family Centered Care. Two trained assistants support implementation of programming. You will participate in client teaching, provide consultation and in-servicing, communicate with family, co-workers and other members of the health care team, and perform documentation as required.In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000.
