Job Description
The Recruitment Advisor plays a key role in attracting and converting prospective students to Lakehead University through a variety of recruitment initiatives and events. Acting as an ambassador for the University, this position engages with prospective students, families, and educational partners to promote programs, services, and the overall student experience.
Responsibilities
- Represent the University at recruitment events, including high school visits, fairs, and on- and off-campus events
- Develop, coordinate, and maintain recruitment travel schedules (Fall and Spring), and support event planning throughout the year
- Participate in comprehensive undergraduate recruitment and conversion efforts, targeting high school, transfer, and mature student populations
- Build and maintain relationships with guidance counsellors, teachers, and college transfer advisors to support recruitment initiatives
