Main Objective of the Role
The Regional Project Execution Practice Lead drives execution readiness and delivery assurance across Glencore Copper’s portfolio of major and mega capital projects in Latin America. As a senior member of the Latin America Major Projects leadership team, the role owns the portfolio-level execution strategy and the framework for partnering with EPCM and contracting partners, driving delivery excellence from study through execution, commissioning and operational handover.
Operating Context
Glencore Copper’s Latin America Major Projects portfolio comprises a diverse range of large‑scale brownfield and greenfield developments at various stages of the project lifecycle. The portfolio currently comprises El Pachón (Argentina), MARA (Argentina), Corocchuayco (Peru) and the new copper smelter in Chile, alongside other strategic growth projects within the regional portfolio.
