6 Month Contract With A Local Authority Job Purpose To deliver a professional building control service by ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and associated legislation across a range of residential, commercial, and complex construction projects. The postholder will undertake inspections, assess building safety and structural compliance, investigate dangerous structures and unauthorised works, and support the Council in maintaining high building control standards in line with statutory and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Carry out site inspections to assess compliance with Building Regulations and associated legislation on projects up to Registered Building Inspector Class 2F.
