Registered Nurse - Casual Part‑Time
This role performs the functions of a Registered Nurse in compliance with the Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses in Ontario and provides high‑quality nursing service that reflects the organization’s resident‑centred approach.
Responsibilities
- Perform the functions of a Registered Nurse according to the Standards of Nursing Practice of the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Effectively implement the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation.
- Monitor, implement and adhere to legislations, standards, policies and procedures of the long‑term care home.
- Maintain regular and effective communication with family members for timely updates and support.
- Maintain close working relationships with attending physicians, laboratories, agencies and hospitals to ensure timely and appropriate delivery of services to residents.
