Job Description
KEY FUNCTION
Deliver comprehensive, patient-centred oncology nursing care by applying advanced knowledge, clinicalexpertise, and ethical practice to support patients throughout their cancer journey.
REPORTING
Under the general direction of the Manager, Systemic Treatment.
DUTIES
- Practice in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario Standards of Nursing Practice.
- Maintain and adhere to HSN policies, procedures and nursing standards.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to assess patient health status (e.g., order, interpret, and evaluatediagnostic tests).
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interprofessionalteam to ensure continuity of care.
