Responsibilities:
Supports the budget for KEI and works within its parameters.Provides input into the need and use of equipment and supplies required for patients. Required Knowledge and Experience:
Required: Current General Class (Practising) RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.Required: Current BLS certification.Required: Completion of a perioperative RN nursing program. Preferred: ORNAC-approved perioperative nursing program.Required: Minimum of one year of recent, relevant operating room clinical experience.Preferred: Acute care experience.Preferred: CNA certification in perioperative nursing.Preferred: Baccalaureate degree in nursing.Demonstrated strong work ethic and excellent attendance record.Ability to cross-train to pre- and post-operative areas.Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the needs of patients and the facility.
