Overview
Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency Centre is welcoming a Registered Veterinary Technologist, Critical Care to join the Critical Care Service. The Centre is a combined specialty and emergency hospital serving Southern Alberta and parts of BC. The service currently consists of Critical Care Specialists, 8 technicians, and 6 technician assistants.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care support as part of the Critical Care Service; work closely with the Emergency Service.
- Participate in patient care for Critical Care patients and assist with triage and ICU patients.
- Deliver exceptional client experience with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Contribute to a progressive and cooperative teaching environment.
- Collaborate with board-certified specialists in multiple services including critical care and anesthesia.
