Overview
Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) – Location: Comox, BC. Employment Type: Full-time. Compensation: based on experience and skills. Shamrock Animal Hospital in Comox, BC is seeking a full-time RVT to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy duties.
- Assist with surgical preparation, intraoperative support, and patient recovery.
- Keep detailed and accurate patient records and documentation.
- Provide compassionate care for hospitalized patients and education for pet parents.
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously and problem-solve or ask clarifying questions to find solutions.
- Maintain exceptional interpersonal skills when collaborating with colleagues and communicating with clients.
- Demonstrate a passion to learn and grow within the role.
