Relief Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients
• Ensure medication and over‑the‑counter supplement inventory levels are adequate to meet patients’ needs
• Counsel patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and pro‑active interaction
• Create awareness and educate customers through public relations activities such as public health days and clinics
• Provide timely and positive resolutions to patients’ needs and doctors’ requests or issues
• Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary)
• Provide ongoing training for all new and existing pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPGs)
• Be responsible for receiving, preparing, and delivering prescriptions and clinical services within their scope of practice accurately and timely
• Travel regularly; reliable transportation is required
