Empower the community as a Religious Leader (Granthi) at the Akali Singh Sikh Society in Vancouver, British Columbia. This full-time position involves conducting rituals and providing spiritual guidance.
You will utilize formal training in Sikh theology and knowledge of scriptures to conduct services and engage with members in Punjabi. Your experience, ideally two years or more, will enable you to lead Kirtan, handle religious ceremonies, and contribute to educational programs. This role is essential for enriching the spiritual life of the congregation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular Sikh religious services
• Read continuously from the Guru Granth Sahib Ji
• Lead Kirtan and Katha teachings
• Oversee Sikh ceremonies like weddings
