A seed-stage healthcare technology company is building the data infrastructure behind faster, clearer healthcare coverage decisions, and is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to own and scale that infrastructure end-to-end.
The team is small and moves fast, aggregating and normalizing over 100,000 medical policies from 100+ payers into structured, searchable intelligence using AI-driven systems. The founder is currently the sole engineer, so this hire acts as technical lead — reviewing code and setting architectural direction for a small group of part-time and offshore engineers, without managing people directly.
