Become a road maintenance operator with Ledcor Highways Ltd. in Fox Creek, AB. This role involves operating heavy trucks and maintaining highways year-round.
We are looking for dedicated individuals with a Class 1, 2, or 3 license. As a road maintenance operator, you will manage various winter and seasonal tasks, including crack sealing and hazard remediation, while navigating outdoor work in all weather conditions. Night shifts and on-call responsibilities may apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy equipment such as snowplow trucks
• Maintain highways through essential labor duties
• Conduct pothole repairs and hazard remediation
• Perform bridge and signage cleaning as necessary
• Work outdoors, adapting to weather changes
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license with an air endorsement
• Clean driving abstract for the past three years
• Successful completion of drug and alcohol testing
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs or more
