Description: The Forest Resources Inventory Information Management Solution (FRI IMS) streamlines the acquisition, processing, interpretation, management, and sharing of extensive data. This data suite includes interconnected high-resolution digital aerial imagery, digital elevation data, field-sampled data, geographic information, and additional forest information from various sources. The FRI IMS Enhancement project aims to further improve the functionality, usability, and performance of FRI IMS by incorporating the following features: A centralized data storage system utilizing Databricks data lake and Azure Storage Account. Data exchange channels via a public-facing web application. A Data Processing and Data Scientist Platform that supports data acquisition, processing, and analysis using Databricks on the Azure cloud.
