As a Project Safety Coordinator, you will oversee worker health and safety on site for ITC Construction. You’ll conduct daily safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your expertise will be vital in training staff on safe work practices, overseeing PPE usage, and investigating accidents or near-misses to foster a safer work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily safety inspections following ITC’s standards
• Maintain Daily Report Form with workforce data
• Compile information for monthly Corporate Safety Meetings
• Conduct ongoing paperwork per ITC Health and Safety Manual
• Liaise with WorkSafe BC Inspectors during inspections
Requirements:
• Certification as a Construction Safety Officer (CSO or NSCO)
