About the role
The Safety & FSQ Trainer will be responsible to facilitate and deliver training for the onsite FSQ teams and serve as an SME for other departments, as well as supporting FSQ training activities. This will include, but is not limited to, creating and updating training manuals for each FSQ position, development, maintenance and training of SOPs, JSAs, one‑point lessons, and training tracking matrix. The Safety and FSQ Trainer will work with FSQ Supervisors to observe training of FSQ personnel and document training performance for each trainee. In addition, the Safety & FSQ Trainer will also be the onsite trainer for all personnel at the Coaldale site who require training in H2S, Confined Space, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, and 1st Aid, and will need to maintain training records and documentation related to these courses and associated certifications.
