Job Description

As a Sales Engineer, you will be driving new business development. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our companys growth, actively shaping opportunities rather than waiting for them.


With your strong Tier network and deep knowledge of the automotive market, youll identify trends, open new doors, and secure business that makes an impact.


You will report directly to the Country Manager China, based in our Changshu Branch.


Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.

  • Leverage and expand your professional network to generate leads and open doors.

  • Conduct market research to uncover untapped potential and anticipate industry trends.

  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to turn opportunities into long-term partnerships.

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and proposals to negotiation and deal closing.
  • What were looking for

  • Proven hands-on experience in Business Development (minimum 7-10 years) within the automotive industry.

  • Strong network within Tier suppliers in the automotive industry

  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to create opportunities.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Technical interest is required; mechanical or material knowledge is a plus.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships, while maintaining confidentiality.

  • Strong negotiation skills.

  • Knowledge of English (spoken and written).

  • Ability to work independently while being a team player in an international environment.

  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet customers and prospects.
