Job Introduction
Senior Buyer in Cosma International – responsible for sourcing and managing prototype and production tooling associated with new product launches. Salary Range: $80,000 – $95,000. Immediate, Open Position.
Responsibilities
- The Senior Buyer is responsible for sourcing and managing prototype tooling, production tooling, assembly capital, direct buy, steel and purchased components.
- Works integrally with Presstran Engineering, Materials and Quality Teams to ensure successful product and tool launches.
- Creates, distributes, collects, and recommends all program‑related suppliers and recommends overall business cases.
- Develops and executes effective bidding, negotiation, pricing strategies and supplier recommendations to provide the best value within budgets and policies.
