Brief Description of the Role:

The Senior Consultant will possess a sound understanding of independence rules and provide high-quality, professional support on independence-related matters across the Firm. The role also includes contributing to capability building within the team through the provision of training and technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Engagement Independence function within the Firm’s Ethics & Independence team by:

• Managing Ethics & Independence systems, processes, and procedures to ensure operational effectiveness and compliance.
• Contributing to projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outcomes.
• Performing independence clearance processes for prospective audit clients across Australia, Papua New Guinea, and Fiji, including reviewing non-assurance services; conducting intake discussions with audit teams; and guidin...
