Job Purpose
This role involves senior level expertise for the management and support of business critical and ad-hoc Databases.
Ensuring databases are running smoothly by performing regular maintenance tasks such as backups, disaster recovery and high availability, and performance tuning.
Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect the integrity and confidentiality of the data.
Monitoring database performance and capacity to identify and resolve any issues that may arise.
Planning and implementing data migration to new databases or systems. Working closely with developers, project managers, and other IT staff to support database-related projects and ensure seamless integration.
