Elevate your expertise as a Senior Turbomachinery Designer with an innovative launch vehicle company. This role focuses on CAD design and hardware definition for high-performance rocket engines.
You will be responsible for transforming initial designs into detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings, ensuring hardware can withstand varying operational challenges. Collaboration with design, quality, and manufacturing teams will ensure that the parts meet all specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive 3D models and assemblies
• Produce 2D manufacturing drawings with GD&T
• Execute tolerance stack-ups for critical components
• Propose design improvements for manufacturable components
• Oversee part release processes using PLM systems
Requirements:
• Degree in mechanical or similar field
• At least 9 years in regulated industries
