Job Description
SUMMARY
Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will prepare detailed cost estimates using estimating software of the full project scope including labour, equipment, raw materials, purchased equipment and subcontractors. Tender closings are to meet all submission deadlines. PRIMARY SCOPE OF ROLE
Estimating & Tender Preparation
Accurately interpret and comprehend tender drawings and specifications for all projects up to $1 Billion. Perform and/or direct quantity take-offs from tender drawings. Consistently and insightfully formulate all tender costs (labour, material, equipment, subcontractors). Cost out potential scope changes/additional costs/claims. Prepare initial tender schedule for handoff to field staff. Prepare bid bond and insurance request forms. Tender Management & Delivery
