Responsibilities
- Confidently lead a team through the completion of a bid process for larger and complicated projects. (Scope definition, risk profiling, division of work among team members, facilitate and lead executive reviews meeting.)
- Review drawings and tender documents to understand scope of work and submission requirements.
- Assemble accurate, timely and well‑organized estimates, including hard‑bid, construction management and design‑build.
- Prepare reports and lead executive bid review meetings.
- Review schedule for accuracy and determine production rates.
- Contact subcontractors and vendors for specific divisions to obtain external pricing.
- Negotiate subcontractors and vendor pricing.
- Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Organize sub‑contractor quotes when the bid is successful, re‑write binders and assist the buy‑out process.
