ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement ETL solutions
Design and build DataStage jobs to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target data warehouses or data marts
Data Warehousing and Data Integration: focus on data warehousing and data integration projects, ensuring data consistency and availability for business intelligence and analytics
Performance Tuning: optimize the performance of ETL processes to meet business requirements and ensure efficient data processing
SDLC and Agile Methodologies: participate in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and potentially work within agile frameworks
Collaboration: work with business analysts, data architects, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
Production Support: may be involved in providing support for existing DataStage jobs in production, including troubleshooting and resolving issues
