Opportunity
Our client is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst for an 18‑month contract opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Full cycle accounting, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and managing the general ledger in compliance with IFRS.
- Preparing detailed financial analysis of results.
- Conducting detailed review of accurate, complete and approved internal management‑based financial reporting under IFRS for ad‑hoc reporting and consistency with corporate policies and standards.
- Preparing and reviewing income and indirect tax provisions and tax returns.
Qualifications
- CPA or close to designation.
- Strong understanding of IFRS.
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Tax experience is an asset.
- Insurance industry experience is an asset.
