Job Description
Client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a short-term contract engagement. In this role, you will support quarterly reviews and annual external audits, prepare financial statements and supporting documentation, and perform technical accounting research.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate quarterly reviews and annual external audits with auditors and internal stakeholders
- Prepare consolidation working papers, financial statements, and note disclosures
- Develop audit committee materials and other reporting analyses
- Perform technical accounting research and draft accounting memos under IFRS
- Prepare selected month-end reconciliations
- Support ad hoc projects as needed
Qualifications
- Professional accounting designation (CPA) with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Background in public accounting is considered an asset
