Join our esteemed EPC client as a Senior High Voltage Electrical Distribution Design Engineer. This role emphasizes your deep expertise in high voltage system designs for substantial industrial facilities.
With a contract opportunity on the line, the position calls for 15+ years in the HV domain, particularly in large enterprises like refineries or data centers. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed SLDs, performing electrical system studies, and directing the design of protection and control infrastructure. Mentoring engineers within the team will also be key to development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute detailed designs of high voltage installations
• Utilize ETAP and CDEGS for system studies
• Guide Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) protocols
• Ensure quality during Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
• Offer training to junior engineers to cultivate talent
Requirements:
• Minimum of 15 years HV design experience
• Licensed P.Eng in Canada
