Key Responsibilities
Collective Bargaining & Negotiations
- Serve as the organization's lead negotiator and primary advisor on collective bargaining initiatives.
- Develop negotiation strategies, bargaining proposals, and supporting analysis.
- Lead negotiation preparation activities and provide strategic guidance throughout the bargaining process.
- Support the implementation and communication of negotiated agreements.
- Monitor labour trends, legislation, and market developments to inform negotiation strategy.
Labour Relations Leadership
- Provide expert guidance on collective agreement interpretation and administration.
- Lead complex labour relations matters, including grievance management, dispute resolution, and arbitration preparation.
