Linum Consult’s client is currently seeking a Senior Legal Counsel with experience working for power or energy companies to be based in their Doha office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitoring and evaluating local, regional, and international laws and regulations that may affect the company, its joint ventures, and Independent Power Producers (IPPs), providing strategic legal advice, ensuring compliance and mitigating risksOverseeing the negotiation, drafting, and reviewing of all agreements and contracts, including mergers & acquisitions, ensuring the company’s interests are protectedAdvising on all claims and disputes; representing the company in courts, tribunals, and other dispute resolution processes, ensuring effective legal representation and safeguarding company interestsManaging and approving all external legal services, selecting and overseeing external legal advisors to ensure high-quality legal support...
