Job Description
To ensure uninterrupted production by planning and controlling material availability, including imported materials, while optimizing inventory levels and coordinating with procurement, suppliers, and logistics teams.
Roles & Responsibility:
Plan material requirements based on production schedules and forecastsRun MRP and generate purchase requisitions on time and Monitor material availability (local & import) to avoid line stoppages.Maintain optimal inventory levels (RM, WIP, FG as applicable)MRP & System ManagementExecute MRP in ERP systems (Oracle ERP)Ensure master data accuracy (BOM, lead time, safety stock, MOQ)Track planning exceptions (shortages, delays, excess stock)Monitor shipment status (ETD, ETA) and ensure timely customs clearanceEnsure availability of import documentation: Invoice, Packing List, BOE, COO, etc.Follow up on port clearance and inland transportation to plant
