Job Description
An opportunity has become available for an experienced Procurement/Senior Procurement Officer to join a Local Government organisation on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension.
In this role, you will support business units across the organisation with procurement, tendering and contract management activities, ensuring processes are undertaken in line with council policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support business units with procurement, tendering and contract management processes.
- Manage quotation, Expressions of Interest (EOI) and consultancy engagement processes.
- Assist with tender preparation, evaluation and contract establishment.
- Assist with reviewing procurement options including State, WSROC, LGP and Procurement Australia contracts
