Position (details)
The Senior Sourcing Specialist reports to the Director Strategic Sourcing and is responsible for supporting multiple business units across various categories and executing low risk/low complexity procurement activities in the functional areas of Procurement Strategy, Strategic Sourcing and Contract Development.
The Senior Sourcing Specialist will support Procurement Services and the Strategic Sourcing team, as requested to facilitate sourcing events for low to medium complexity.
Responsibilities
- Small Deals Desk (SDD) Management
- Manage the intake requests assigned to/received by SDD Mailbox through the sourcing intake platform
- Manage Intake volume, prioritize deals and meet SDD service level expectations
- Proactively contact requestors from the Business Unit to seek understanding and/or clarification of the SDD request and engage accordingly
