**What you will do**
+ Develop and implement sourcing strategies and objectives for assigned commodities within Stryker’s Communications business (integrated operating room solutions), supporting divisional performance and business objectives.
+ Lead and manage a team of approximately four employees based in the US (Texas) and at our Tuttlingen site in Germany, as well as cross-functional groups, to drive strategic commodity planning, consolidation initiatives, and spend and supply assessments across the full product lifecycle.
+ Oversee sourcing analysis and selection processes, conduct cost evaluations, and perform make-versus-buy assessments as needed.
+ Direct the creation of contract strategies; negotiate, establish, monitor, and enforce supplier contracts and agreements.
