YOUR ROLE
- Mainly working on projects around Metro Victoria and Vancouver Island
- Conducting field surveys in all weather conditions
- Gathering survey data by using GPS, Total stations and data collectors
- Transferring survey data to office network and assisting in reviewing the survey data
- Ensuring delivery of projects within budgets and timelines
- Developing and maintaining client relationships
- Training and mentoring Survey Assistants
- Assigning tasks to Survey Assistants in a collaborative manner, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in work completion
- Operating and maintaining survey vehicles, tools and equipment
WHAT YOU BRING
- Diploma or Degree in Geomatics Engineering Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 6 years of work experience as Surveyor or equivalent
