Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
Assist in ensuring that production orders in the Recycling Cast House are planned and scheduled efficiently to maximize product output in the safest and most cost-effective manner.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES- Assumes overall responsibility for the production planning process within the Recycling Cast House to:
- Maximize production output.
- Optimize the use of available scrap to reduce costs while maintaining the highest product quality.
- Ensure production is carried out safely, efficiently, and in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Ensure the continuous availability of the correct scrap, alloys, prime metal, and consumables.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance team to optimize preventive and predictive maintenance schedules, minimizing breakdowns and improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
