Position Summary
Applications are invited from qualified individuals to instruct in the Practical Nursing Diploma program at North Island College.This instructional assignment, up to 100%, involves teaching the practice the course PNS 237: Consolidated Practice Experience 3 to a cohort of PN students via a face-to-face delivery method within a Comox Valley and Campbell River practice agency.
NOTE: Practicum placements will take place in a variety of practice settings and may require travel. Applicants need to have access to reliable transportation.
The successful candidate will implement creative strategies in the preparation and delivery of practice activities; use initiative in providing documentation and follow-up with regard to student concerns and problem resolution; and, bring facilitation skills to management of conflict. The schedule for this assignment will be flexible to meet the needs of the program.
