Position Summary
Sessional instructional assignment (up to 25%) to teach the Practical Nursing Diploma program at North Island College. The successful candidate will design and deliver the lab course PNS 116: Integrated Nursing Practice 1 using a face‑to‑face method at the Port Alberni campus. The schedule will be flexible to meet program needs.
Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare learning materials and instructional activities for the lab course.
- Use a variety of approaches and materials to address different learning needs.
- Teach assigned subject areas and include all required curriculum in course outlines.
- Direct student learning in a positive, supportive, and caring environment.
- Be available to students regularly during scheduled office hours to discuss progress and other concerns.
