JOB DESCRIPTION
Were looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Worker with strong TIG welding experience to join our clients team in Basildon. Youll be working with stainless steel to produce precision components and assemblies.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Set up and operate a range of tools and machinery, including welding equipment, CNC machines, guillotines, and brake presses.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine materials and job requirements.
Choose appropriate gauges and sheet metal types based on product needs.
Accurately measure, mark, and lay out materials following detailed instructions.
Shape, cut, bend, roll, and form metal parts using various techniques.
Drill and punch holes for fasteners such as screws, bolts, and rivets.
Inspect components for accuracy before assembly.
