Sheet Metal Shop Estimator/Detailer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Shop Estimator/Detailer to join our fabrication team in St. John's, NL . This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, producing detailed shop drawings, and supporting project execution from bid through production. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
What will you do?
- Review drawings, specifications, and customer RFQs to prepare accurate estimates.
- Perform material take-offs for sheet metal components (HVAC, custom fabrication, etc.).
- Assess labour requirements, equipment needs, and production timelines.
