Job Description
Hello! We are looking for a caring, reliable babysitter/nanny to join our family, we are located in Blind Bay.
I’ll be home caring for our newborn come June and am hoping to have support in our home 1–3 times per week primarily focused on our toddler (currently 20 months). The role would involve engaging him in play, outdoor time, simple activities, and daily routines while I tend to the baby.
In the meantime (before June), we’d also love occasional weekday help and weekend evening availability for date nights.
We’re ideally looking for someone who:
• Has experience with toddlers
• Holds CPR/First Aid certification (babysitting certificate preferred)
• Is warm, patient, and proactive
• Values respectful, child-led care
We appreciate a Montessori-inspired approach; encouraging independence, outdoor exploration, calm redirection, and purposeful play. We’re happy to chat more about what this looks like in our home.
