Painter Opportunities - Aerospace Manufacturing
We are currently recruiting a Skilled Painters to join our aerospace site - to train on earlies and then join the late shift.
Rates
Shift Umbrella
Earlies £30.56
Lates (20%) uplift £35.66
Working Hours
Early Shift: 06:00-14:15 (Monday-Thursday) / 06:00-12:00 (Friday)
Late Shift: 14:15-22:30 (Monday-Thursday) / 12:00-18:00 (Friday)
Role Overview
As a Skilled Painter, you'll support the delivery of high-quality metallic and composite aircraft components and assemblies in accordance with local manufacturing instructions and specifications.
Key responsibilities include:
Masking components to technical drawings and plans
Mixing and applying specialist fillers and paint schemes (primer, topcoat, anti-abrasion, gloss)
Manual abrading and orbital sanding
Edge sealing and resin application
Operating curing booths and monitoring cure cycles
