Our client, an Australia based gold development company who hosts a portfolio of assets in the Goldfields region is seeking an Underground Geologist for a short term contract.
Requirements:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications;
- Knowledge of mapping, structural geology, drilling and sampling techniques;
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment;
- Competent using software such as Leapfrog
- Valid C Class license.
Position Duties:
- Develop, implement and monitor various underground geology procedures - face mapping and sampling, wall mapping, logging;
- Execute digital face/wall mapping program;
- Provide ore drive directions to optimise orebody position for stoping;
