Software Engineer in Test - SDET. Junior level. Essential Duties. Include, but are not limited to, the following: Maintain and execute test cases/test scripts (manual and automated) for the user stories developed to support the new features, as well as components. Execute test scripts to validate the UI functionality and REST API’s. Create and execute SQL queries to verify data completeness, correctness, data transformation, and data quality of bioinformatics pipelines Report, track, and escalate anomalies discovered during testing and ensure closure on the issues. Participate in software requirements, design, and review meetings. Participate in software development of test strategy, test planning, test cases, and risk assessment leading to successful implementation and timely project completion.
