Overview
Regional Flexibility Engineering is looking for a software engineer passionate about service‑oriented architectures who wants to support Amazon’s businesses to innovate quickly at scale. The role focuses on designing and building highly distributed systems that scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Solve algorithmically complex problems and work on front‑end / back‑end services that scale, delighting thousands of Amazon engineers.
- Design and build for Amazon’s scale across all of Amazon Stores, Digital and Others (SDO) businesses.
- Work with AWS technologies and advise SDO teams on setting up required infrastructure.
- Influence product design and choose highly scalable, available technology to solve complex problems.
- Collaborate with a large and experienced Principal Engineering community across cross‑cutting teams and technologies.
