Responsibilities
- Review and understand System Requirements and System Architecture for Product Family, as well as any software‑specific Customer Requirements. Translate these into Software Requirements, creating the Software Requirement Specification, which is the basis of the complete software lifecycle, and the basis for communication within the software team.
- Ensure full traceability and coverage and adherence to the defined processes.
- Review current software systems and creation of internal Software Requirements.
- Liaise with System, Software and Test Engineering to technically analyze, develop and allocate software requirements, and to ensure full traceability according to the Software V‑Model.
- Manage requirements baselines. Perform engineering assessment of all subsequent internal and external Change Requests made to the project and translation of same into specific software requirements specification updates.
