The Ajna team builds and operates Salesforce's internal Kafka-as-a-Service platform — the distributed messaging backbone that powers real-time data pipelines, alerting, analytics, and event streaming across every major Salesforce product and cloud environment.
The platform serves a broad ecosystem of internal engineering teams across commercial, GovCloud, and sovereign cloud environments globally. This team pursues principled, high-impact architectural evolution with direct consequences at production scale.
The team operates with distributed coverage across Pacific and India Standard Time zones, maintains continuous on‑call coverage, and is actively invested in intelligent automation — including AI‑powered tooling built in‑house to support triage and auto‑remediation at scale.
