Our client in the automotive industry is looking to hire a Software Test and Validation Engineer in Markham, ON.
Responsibilities
Execute black-box test cases to validate basic software functions on automotive controllers.Validate controller infrastructure features such as CAN and Ethernet communication, diagnostics, bootloader, and serial data against AUTOSAR and Adaptive AUTOSAR requirements.Automate test cases using Python and established engineering test methodologies to improve efficiency and coverage.Participate in test automation by reading and writing Python scripts and contributing to the development or modification of test scripts from scratch or existing frameworks.Use test automation frameworks, such as Python-based tools or Robot Framework, to design, execute, and maintain automated test suites.Perform diagnostic testing of serial communication, including CAN, Automotive Ethernet, and LIN, as well as diag...
