Department: Sun Parlor Home
Location: Leamington, Ontario
Position Type: Temporary Part Time (Existing Vacancy)
About the Role
Under the direction of the Food & Nutrition Services Manager and Supervisor, the Food Service Worker will assist with the preparation and serving of food to residents and maintain a clean and safe work area.
What We Are Looking For
- Secondary School Diploma
- 6 months experience in food service and an understanding of therapeutic diets
- Completion of the Food Services Worker certificate program, or Post-Secondary diploma/degree in Food/Nutrition Management, or a diploma from an established college or Red Seal Program status, as required by Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007
- Knowledge of Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care Standards and ability to ensure compliance with these standards
